Reminder of Self-Reliance (It's 25 and who cares?)

In relation to my marking day of getting older, I wish to share the gist from a DVD I watched (alone) at the library few weeks before.

'The Way to Happiness'

It is simply a manifestation of how to lead your life better by being positive to yourself as well as those around you.

Here are some quotations that I thought might be useful for me and interesting enough to be taken as something worth knowing.

  • When good text is exist, value them and study them well. When they don’t, assemble what data is available, study that and work the rest of it out.
  • What is true is what true for you.
  • Encourage people around you to look good by complimenting them when they do or even gently helping them with their problems when they don’t. It could improve their self-regard and their morale as well.
  • Work is not always pleasant.
  • Sorrow can be eased by simply getting busy at something.
  • People who are not industrious dump the workload on those around them. They tend to burden one.
  • Look at things and life and others directly, not through any cloud of prejudice, curtain of fear or the interpretation of another.

Happy Birthday! Be a Nice Girl Please...
